Comes complete with 9.5mm/12.7mm stepped barb. Barbed air/ gas inlet. For most economical operation this pump should be driven using oil free air compressor (which you can purchase at any hardware store). If however you do not have an air compressor you can drive this pump with CO2/Nitrogen or other compressed gas cylinders.
The Flojet G56 is a commonly used pump in the beverage industry for pushing beer from keg to tap. Historically dispensing kegs long distances required high pressure from your CO2/Nitrogen gas tank to push the beverage a long way. This resulted in high amount of gas wastage, costly large diameter hosing and this resulted in signficant beer wastage.
Now with the FlowJet pumps you can use an air compressor to drive the G56 pump to develop higher hydraulic pressures in the beverage line without wasting co2/nitrogen and also facilitating the use of smaller beer line diameter thus limiting wastage.
This type of beer pump is considered essencial for any long draw keg system, stadiums, or situations where beverages need to be delivered up to 10 stories high in buildings.
The increased pressure in the beverage line also prevents dissolved gas in the beverage coming out in the beer causing foaming at the tap.
These beer pumps are ideally used in conjunction with a FOB.
NOTE: Comes complete with 9.5mm/12.7mm stepped barb. Barbed air/ gas inlet.
